This unique medal not only marks the 50th year of Ottawa’s prestigious marathon, it is also the biggest medal (by size and by weight) that has ever been given to Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend participants!
We would like to thank Kichesippi Beer Co. and the West Ottawa Run Club for hosting the Tartan Ottawa International medal reveal. It was the perfect way to include the running community and share a piece of history: the medal that symbolizes 50 years of running in the national capital region.

Em 2017, o Canadá faz 150 anos e essa é uma das razões que me fez escolher passar as férias aqui. For the first time in over 20 years, you can skate the full 7.8km of the Skateway on opening day! ☃️
I can’t skate to save my life and if you’re the same (I see you, Boo!), make sure to wear really good grip boots like olang_canada (pictured here: GLAMOUR LUXE in Red!) as the canal is obvs fun and slippery! 🤣
